The Safe House Network

A Place of Hope and Healing

A Place of Hope.

The Lantern Project operates a growing network of Safe Houses across The Carolinas, offering refuge, stability, and a fresh start for survivors of sex trafficking. These homes are more than just shelters—they are restorative homes where women can begin rebuilding their lives with dignity, compassion, and wraparound support from our network.

A Network of Restoration

What We Offer in Our Homes

We’re Powered by Our Community.

Each of our Safe Houses is sponsored and sustained by generous community partners—local churches, businesses, families, and civic organizations who believe that fighting trafficking and healing is a community responsibility.

Without these partnerships, none of this would be possible.

You Can Be Part of the Network!

As a business, church, or organization, you can sponsor a home or a room, helping us sustain services and offer consistency to survivors.

Provide In-Kind Donations

Household goods, groceries and gift cards, transportation & gas cards, and more.

Offer Services or Job Training

Survivors benefit greatly from hands-on skills and professional mentorship. Once trained you can help with that!

Support Monthly

Join our monthly giving team and help keep the lights on—literally and figuratively.

Why It Matters

When a survivor enters a Lantern Safe House, they are no longer alone. They step into a place of safety and structure where healing becomes possible. They’re surrounded by a team of professionals and community champions who believe in their future—and walk with them every step of the way.

Your Support = Lasting Change

We invite you to be part of the story. Whether you give, sponsor or serve—your partnership helps make freedom sustainable.
