The Lantern Project operates a growing network of Safe Houses across The Carolinas, offering refuge, stability, and a fresh start for survivors of sex trafficking. These homes are more than just shelters—they are restorative homes where women can begin rebuilding their lives with dignity, compassion, and wraparound support from our network.

A Network of Restoration

The Lantern is currently operating three Safe Houses across the Carolinas.
We have Two more homes launching by the end of 2025!
Each home serves survivors of sex trafficking, offering safety, community, and long- term support.
Our residential program spans 6 to 12 months, depending on the survivor's journey and needs.

What We Offer in Our Homes

Trauma-informed care from our case managers
Life skills training—budgeting, cooking, job readiness, etc.
Educational support and career coaching
Connection to healthcare, legal aid, and addiction recovery as needed
A caring and trained staff team that walks alongside each survivor daily

Each of our Safe Houses is sponsored and sustained by generous community partners—local churches, businesses, families, and civic organizations who believe that fighting trafficking and healing is a community responsibility.
